What does the "level" mean on the user profile?
Each level earned gives you one vote to cast on a song in the request list. When the song you voted for is removed, you may re-use the vote. You may, of course, take back votes if you wish.

Your user level is calculated using the following formula:
In english, you get a level-up when:
  • You donate (one level-up per dollar)
  • You get leveled up/down by administration
  • The number of posts you have made doubles (post 1, 2, 4, 8, ...)
  • Your account reaches a level-up day (day 3, 8, 21, 60 ...)
  • You gain 10 upload points
  • 10 of your contributions are approved
  • You gain 100 Cryptography Challenge points
Level-ups are calculated once daily at around 2:00 AM.
Notice that if you have NEGATIVE upload points, it can cause you to level-down. :( Positive or negative merit points are given out by staff when you do something good or bad respectively.
